Trapped Under Ice, Rae Spoon, The Highest Order, and Red Hot Gospel added as headliners to Edmonton, AB Music Festival

(Edmonton) – The fifth annual Up and Downtown Music Festival (UP+DT 2017) has released the final wave of 2017 performers, taking place Friday, October 6 to Sunday, October 8, 2017. Latest additions to the UP+DT 2017 lineup include: Trapped Under Ice, DJ Marky, Metrik, Rae Spoon, The Highest Order, Red Hot Gospel, Arlo Maverick, The Fuzz Kings, Archaics, Borys, The Whitsundays, Swear by the Moon, Dead Fibres, Port Juvee, Night Vision Music, Future Roots, Ryan Wells, Phatcat, David Luca, Wadjit, Sahib, Jake Robertz, ceeevs, Kiytek, Pyramid//Indigo, Crystal Eyes, Jay Gilday, Hermitess, Basic Instinct, Hashteroid, The Dice Cubes, Klusterfunk, The Middle Coast, and CHAM.
These artists join the previously announced 2017 lineup, which includes Wintersleep, DIIV, Dan Deacon, Reverend Horton Heat, U.S. Girls, Alan Cross (“The Ongoing History of New Music”), Sister Nancy, and Leif Vollebekk, among others.
Venues collaborating for UP+DT 2017 include 9910, Beaver Hills Park, Brixx Bar and Grill, CKUA Radio Performance Hall, Downtown Edmonton Community League Office, Freemason Hall, McDougall United Church, Michael Phair Park, The Needle Tavern, Rocky Mountain IceHouse, Starlite Room, and Yellowhead Brewery. In addition, ATB Financial will partner with UP+DT 2017 once again for Produce in the Park, a free event featuring Edmonton’s best electronic producers, on Saturday, October 7 at Beaver Hills Park. There will also be a free live music showcase in Michael Phair Park presented by Sonic 102.9 FM Radio.

Three-day All- access Pass: $95 (until Aug.31/17, while quantities last); Regular – $115.

Day 1 Pass – Friday, October 6: $52.50
Day 2 Pass – Saturday, October 7: $52.50
Day 3 Pass – Sunday, October 8: $42.00

Single Show Tickets range from $8 – $33. The remaining single-show tickets will be released on
August 28, 2017, with the festival’s schedule soon to follow.
