About This Project

Vancouver, BC

Jody Glenham is a Vancouver based musician and songwriter. Back in 2013 Jody travelled to California to collaborate with producer Raymond Richards (Local Natives, Avid Dancer), resulting in 2014’s ‘Dreamer EP”. Her mix of hazy six-string strums, melancholic harmonies, and dreamy soundscapes held #1 on Vancouver’s CiTR 101.9 FM’s 2014 charts, and the EP’s leading single – ‘Between You and Me’ was included in Nick Citton’s feature film ‘ My Good Man’s Gone’ which premiered at Vancouver International Film Festival 2015. Recently, Jody was featured in a ‘Women to Watch’ podcast on CBC Radio, and has since played the likes of Canadian Music Week, Toronto’s NXNE, Sled Island, Rifflandia, and the Khatsahlano Music Festival.

Besides fronting her own band, Jody can also be seen with Louise Burns and SAVVIE, she fronted the debaucherous surf/garage rock group Pleasure Cruise, played as part of White Ash Falls, and is currently writing with a new project, Medium Cool. At UP+DT 2016 you can catch Jody with her six piece backing band, known as The Dreamers. In 2015, the band recorded the 7 inch “For Frances”, full of proto punk gaze vibes and summery pop sadness. Don’t miss her unique blend of shoegazey pop at UP+DT!
